So much to tell…

On Christmas Day, my family went out for lunch. You know the dim sim restauant called The Sunny Seafood Restaurant at Hurstville? Well, I went there with my parents and grandparents to have a Christmas Lunch. I like the prawn dumplings best of all. According to my family, we don’t eat Christmas pudding nor do we eat turkey. We eat stuff like sweet and sour soup with rice or noodles and ready-to-eat-meat at a shop at Hurstville, which gives the meal a good balance of vegetables and meat. There was a tremendously long line at the shop and we had to wait for about half and hour to just say what we wanted to get.

On the day before yesterday, we went to The Good Guys at taren Point and did you know that the Good Guys at Taren point has moved in to a new gigantic warehouse store? The prices in there were a bargain! A good-quality fridge was about $199! I mean, how cheap is that? But we didn’t need a new fridge so after a while we visited bing lee at hurstville where the prices were much dearer. The good thing about stores is that you can haggle the prices. If you are lucky you could haggle a $4000 product to just $3000. In the end we bought a video camera. it was fun when I filmed a short and funny interview with my grandma but fearing that there wouldn’t be much storage space left, I deleted it, sadly.

On Christmas Day, Coles wasn’t open nor was Franklins. I’m not sure about Woolworths but I bet it was closed too. We wanted to get some milk and bread but we discovered that it was closed. Other people, we saw, looked disappointed and it was funny when they bumped into the door, thinking that it would open. I think it is a bad idea to close supermarkets on Christmas Day. What if a gluttonous person ate all of their food for some reason and starved to death just because the supermarkets weren’t open?

Cyclone Laurence has moved away, I think and the Sydney to Hobart has finished. Alfa Romeo won. Wild Oats came second.

Holidays

Today is the first day of our summer holidays. What are you going to do during the holidays? I am going to read and go outside to exercise etc. I can’t believe another year has passed already! I can’t wait until next year! :D

There is a New Year Countdown on the sidebar. Hope you like it!

OC Orientation

Today, the new OC people visited our school. I met a girl from my previous school called Alexandra. There is another girl called Vivian in next year’s group and I also met a girl called Ellen. I can’t wait till next year! We’ll be able to work with them on projects and other things. There’s only 7 girls in the class!! The number of girls is declining rapidly and someday, there might be no girls at all!

Friday is going to be fun! A Class party, Secret Santa and the making of Christmas decorations! A year goes so fast! You feel you just experienced a few days but you’ve actually gone through a year.
